New Shipment of Tropicals!
Keep the Fragrance of Summer Year 'Round with Beautiful Gardenias
Nothing says "elegance" better than a beautiful, blooming gardenia, and Payne's has some beauties just waiting for you to take them home! With their shiny, leathery, dark green leaves, gardenias are attractive even when not in bloom. But what blossoms! Single to double, white to cream in color, and intensely fragrant, gardenia flowers make exquisite corsages.
A single open blossom floated in a bowl of water will fill a room with its sweetness. Give your gardenia bright light, water it regularly, and feed it every three or four weeks with an acid bloom fertilizer, fish emulsion, or blood meal.
Beautiful Bromeliads

Looking for an easy-care exotic houseplant? How about a pineapple that lives on air? Epiphytic bromeliads, sometimes called air plants, belong to the Pineapple Family. In the wild they perch on rocks or trees and get their sustenance from rain and composting leaves that gather around their roots. And while they don't bear fruit, bromeliads' tough, sculptured, showy leaves and colorful flower-spikes always attract comment.
