Expert Advice Plant Lore Plants Poisonous To Pets
Plants Poisonous To Pets Print
petsPets sometimes enjoy tasting house and garden plants, and some of those plants can make them sick. Here is a list of plants that have been found potentially hazardous to pets. Usually, when pets snack on plants, they're needing roughage to help them cleanse their systems, or are lacking certain vitamins and minerals in their diet. Consult your veterinarian for advice on proper pet nutrition.

If your pet becomes ill from ingesting a plant, call your vet at once, or take it to the 24-hour Santa Fe Animal Emergency Clinic at 2001 Vivigen Way in Santa Fe (505-984-0625).
