Butterfly Bush

Butterfly Bush

Buddleia

buddleia.blue

Buddleia bushes have flowers in several colors including blue, pink, white and magenta.

This deciduous shrub is nicknamed “butterfly bush” because (obviously) the winged beauties love their flowers. It is easy care, tolerates clay soil, and needs only moderate watering once established. Showy, fragrant flowers bloom June to September. It can grow up to 10′ tall unless it is pruned back to ground in late winter each year. If cut back, by fall the bush will have a height of 3-5′ and a spread of 3-5.’
