'Day Breaker™' is a Floribunda Rose of medium height, introduced to commerce in 2004. Floribundas are renowned for their masses of bloom, which repeat during the summer months. 'Day Breaker™''s complex parentage has resulted in a rounded, bushy, superbly disease resistant, 4 to 5-foot shrub with clean, glossy, dark green leaves. Throughout the summer it bears large, 4-inch wide, doubled, ruffled, pastel peach and yellow flowers the color of a Southwest morning sky. Each blossom is composed of 24 to 30 petals on 18-inch cutting stems, and breathes a soft fruity Tea Rose fragrance. A lovely landscape rose, 'Day Breaker™' is effective as a specimen plant or in the rose garden, and is a consistent performer in a wide range of climates.
