Expert Advice

mister_lincoln.3Some roses never go out of fashion, and 'Mister Lincoln' is one of them. Introduced in 1965, 'Mister Lincoln' combines classic Hybrid Tea Rose form with an alluring, rich perfume that (in the words of Jackson & Perkins) makes it "one of the most highly regarded hybrid teas of all time."

Named for the beloved President, 'Mister Lincoln' makes a tall 4-foot tall shrub with substantial, leathery, dark to medium green leaves. Exquisite urn-shaped, long-stemmed buds open to large to very large, 4 to 6-inch wide, stunning dark rose-red blossoms drenched in a heady "red rose" perfume. No lover of red roses or fragrant flowers should be deprived of this glorious rose.
