Expert Advice

queen_elizabeth.2A Grandiflora introduced in 1955 to celebrate the succession of a young Elizabeth II to the throne of the England, 'Queen Elizabeth' has won the hearts of rose growers ever since for her summerlong sprays of incandescent pink blossoms. Tall and stately, with glossy, leathery, dark green foliage, she opens her pointe, pink buds to display 3.5 to 4-inch wide, fully double, long-stemmed blossoms packed with 35 to 40 petals that breathe a haunting touch of Tea Rose perfume.
