Open, branching ornamental with compound leaves that open bronze and mature to bright green. Showy 8-10″ golden upright flower panicles in summer, followed by decorative, winter-persistent, Chinese-lantern-like reddish fruit capsules that mature to buff-brown. Tolerant of temperature extremes and drought.
